I love this gel! I have used it on long runs and I also use it after I lift weights but before I do a high intensity boot camp. It allows me to stay hydrated while keeping my energy up. It does not cause jitters, nausea, or any other unwanted side affects. The strawberry is awesome! I really like that it is not as gooey as the other gel packs I have used in the past. The others I would have to choke down, but the strawberry flavor is actually good. I dont like the taste of Mocha in general, so that flavor is not for me, but it wasnt awful or anything either. I highly recommend this for anyone that does high intensity workouts or any kind of endurance racing!

Some guys from my cycling club gave me one of these last weekend. It’s too sweet for me. I’ve never been a fan of energy gels in general and these unfortunately didn’t change my mind. I’ve always preferred good old fashioned peanut butter packets when I’m on the bike. I know the gels have all sorts of things to optimize my performance but I’ve accepted that I’m not Lance Armstrong and I don’t need all of that. I will say that I felt pretty good about 30 minutes after I took the gel… probably the caffeine kick

I got back into lifting pretty heavy last month. It’s been a while and the first few days I had trouble making it 2 hours at the gym. I boght a box of mocha and a box of strawberry lemonade gels last week. I take a strawberry lemonade gel when I get to the gym and a mocha aat 45 minutes into my workout. I feel pretty solid. I will say this — I could use a few more flavors! What’s the deal with that? Anyways, it’s a clean ingredients and the caffeine is enough to keep me going without getting me jittery. Good stuff

Not the cheapest option for gels, but the ingredients are CLEAN. I really have hated taking gels in the past because I don’t know what half the ingredients are. I was surprised to find these at Target of all places — it’s clean enough to be a Whole Foods product. Watch out… they taste like candy! I catch myself watching for minute 30 of my run (Mocha Gel Time!!)

I didn’t realize the strawberry lemonade energy gel had real strawberries! I’m so used to things being artificially flavored I didn’t even check. It tastes great, but I’m allergic to strawberries. Luckily I didn’t have a reaction. Still, I only use the mocha one now. Definitely helps during longer bike rides.

My husband brought these home the other day and brought them with to spinning class last night. I tried to eat one but couldn’t finish it — I can’t stand chocolate. I saw there is a Strawberry flavor. Maybe I’ll give that a try.

I’m a bit of a purist when it comes to training and have been against gels for years. I joined a running club this summer and my weekly miles have gotten higher than normal. I bought a pack of these, in case I needed them, because I didn’t want to be the new guy that was slowing everyone down. I will say, I still resist the need to open one of these, but these are so much better than I had anticipated and if I start dragging they definitely give me extra energy. I prefer Strawberry Lemonade over Mocha.

A good gel makes all the difference on longer training sessions. I’ve been working toward a marathon and I can attest to needing these to finish my longer runs… especially during the week after work. I’m not a huge fan of these if I don’t have water on hand because the taste lingers. Mocha is better than Strawberry Lemonade.

My neighbor got me into hiking with our dogs. The gels are vital! My energy levels don’t drop slowly… they plummit. I must go through 10 or 12 of the Strawberry Lemonades per week. I wish they had just a little less caffeine – a little goes a long way for me.
